Currently, Sarah serves as the branch manager of West Capital Lending – a national mortgage brokerage, specializing in residential and commercial loan products. At the same time, she is the founder of a successful trucking company that streamlines cross-country freight logistics, a testament to her entrepreneurial prowess. Sarah’s achievements go far beyond the world of business. Holding both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in criminal justice, she graduated summa cum laude and was recognized as the Criminal Justice Student of the Year. Her academic distinction secured her an internship with the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), where she gained firsthand experience in high-stakes investigative work.

From 2018 to 2021, Sarah lived in South Korea, working for the Korean government on a human trafficking initiative. As a researcher at the Korean Institute of Criminology, a United Nations Programme Network Institute, she led an influential study on North Korean defector human trafficking. Her research was later presented at the American Society of Criminology Conference and published in the Criminal Justice Policy Review, among other university and government databases. Her work also extended to studies conducted in the Philippines and the U.S., demonstrating her commitment to human rights and international justice.

Alongside her business and research accolades, Sarah has made waves in the pageantry and modeling industries. She shattered barriers as the first Miss Tennessee Teen, Miss Tennessee, USA National Miss, and United States of America’s Ms. of Asian descent. Later this summer, Sarah will compete for the title of Miss Tennessee USA. If she wins the competition, she will make history as the first Korean-American and woman of Asian descent to ever represent Tennessee at the world-renowned Miss USA competition. Outside of pageantry, as a signed model with MMG, Sarah has been featured in international print, film, and e-commerce campaigns. Her runway experience includes serving as an Ashley Lauren Model from 2014 to 2017, where she graced showrooms in New York City, Chicago, and Atlanta.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, but raised in Tennessee, Sarah’s global background fuels her passion for diverse industries and initiatives. Now based in Nashville, she enjoys exploring the city’s scenic hiking trails, weight training, and traveling to broaden her horizons.
